Position: Creative Production Assistant - Technology

General Responsibilities:
♣ Act as a coach and mentor in the participants’ learning
♣ Maintain a safe and respectful multicultural learning environment
♣ Be adaptable and flexible in the fast paced, constantly changing environment
♣ Develop and foster a community amongst the group that allows for a transformative experience for the participants
♣ With all staff facilitators, ensure the successful implementation of the entire Program

Specific Responsibilities:
♣ Work directly with the Creative Production Assistant - Events, as well as other related staff and interns to ensure a well-executed, seamless Up with People Celebrations
♣ In cooperation with the CP Dept. Manager-Technology, coach the technical interns and overall team in the set-up, strike, maintenance, inventory and operation of all technical equipment needed for the Up with People Celebration
♣ Plan training sessions and secure resources needed for instructional workshops with the technical interns, assistants, and crew.
♣ Communicate in advance with regional directors, Tour Managers, Local Organizing Committees and advance teams the facility information for each community; ensuring technical requirements are met as well integrate additional equipment as needed
♣ Collaborate with tour operations to ensure the safe, timely transfer of all company property and equipment while on tour
♣ Help with any other technical needs for the WorldSmart Leadership Program tour (such as needs for crew instruction, community impact, marketing and communications, etc.)
♣ Ensure a safe and professional environment at all times by: encouraging proper lifting techniques; performing overall safety checks; maintaining good relations with external resources and ensuring all tech equipment is secured at all times
